This policy, which encompasses PLIL's philosophy for discharging its responsibility as a corporate citizen and lays down guidelines for undertaking socially useful activities for welfare & sustainable development of the society at large.Any or all provisions of the CSR policy would be subject to compliance of provisions of Companies Act 2013 rules made there under, Government Guidelines and will be subject to revision/ amendment in accordance with any changes in such laws /guidelines from Government , from time to time.
PLIL is committed to play a pro-active role & conduct business in a socially & environmentally responsible manner so as to contribute for the socio – economic development of external and internal stakeholder and obligations of CSR will be in line with the Mission & Objectives, Business goals, plans and strategies of PLIL.
This policy shall apply to a CSR activity taken up by PLIL, for the benefit of different segments of the society, specially the deprived, underprivileged and differently abled persons, groups, entities, etc. Therefore, all CSR activities will exclude activities undertaken in pursuance of its normal course of business and those that benefit only the employees of the company and their families.
